1.2 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the product’s weight, dimensions, and delivery location. These costs will be clearly communicated during the order process and added to your invoice unless otherwise stated (e.g., promotional free shipping offers). Prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES).
1.3 Delivery Timelines
Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, we aim to process and dispatch products within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery times are:
- Nairobi and surrounding areas: 1–2 business days.
- Other major towns in Kenya: 2–5 business days.
- Remote areas: 5–10 business days.
These timelines are estimates and may vary due to factors such as courier availability, weather conditions, or public holidays. We will provide tracking information where available.
1.4 Delivery Process
Products are delivered by trusted third-party couriers or our in-house delivery team, depending on the location and order size. Upon delivery, you or an authorized representative must inspect the package for damage before signing for receipt. If damage is observed, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
1.5 Delays
We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, customs processes (for international orders), or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters). We will keep you informed of any delays and work to resolve them promptly.
1.6 Failed Deliveries
If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address, unavailability, or refusal to accept the package, you may be responsible for additional shipping fees for re-delivery or return of the product.
2. Return Policy
2.1 Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- Defective Products: Products that are faulty or malfunctioning upon delivery.
- Incorrect or Not as Described: Products that do not match the description or specifications provided at the time of purchase.
- Non-Defective Returns: Returns for non-defective products may be accepted at our discretion within 7 days of delivery, subject to a restocking fee (up to 20% of the product price).
To be eligible for a return, products must be:
- In their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
- Returned within 7 days of delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
2.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable unless defective:
- Custom-ordered products or specially configured equipment.
- Software licenses or digital products.
- Consumables, such as ink, toner, or paper, once opened.
2.3 Return Process

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or not as described. We recommend using a trackable courier service, as we are not liable for lost returns.
2.4 Inspection
Returned products will be inspected upon receipt. If the return is approved, we will notify you of the next steps (refund, replacement, or store credit). If the return does not meet eligibility criteria, we will contact you to arrange the return of the product at your expense.
3. Replacements
For defective or incorrect products, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund, subject to availability. Replacement products will be shipped at no additional cost to you, and we will cover the cost of returning the defective item.
4. Warranties
Products purchased from Altimate Business Machines come with the following warranties:
- New Products: Manufacturer’s warranty, typically 12 months, unless otherwise specified.
- Refurbished Products: Limited warranty of 3–6 months, as indicated at purchase.
